Rob has served as SharpLink’s CEO and a member of the Board of Directors since he co-founded the Company in 2019. Upon completion of the Company's domestication merger in February, 2024, he was appointed as the Chairman of the Board.
From 2015 through June 2021, he also served as CEO of SportsHub Games Network, Inc., a fantasy sports consolidation and daily game operator. Before SportsHub, Rob served as CEO of Sports Data, a sports content provider which he co-founded in 2010 and later sold in 2013 to Sportradar AG, an international sports data company. He remained at Sportradar through mid-2015 working on key league and customer relationships, including Google, Turner Sports, NBC, CBS and the NFL. Earlier in his career, he founded Fanball.com, an online fantasy sports site and publisher of the first weekly fantasy sports magazine; in 2005, Rob sold Fanball.com to FUN Technologies, a publicly traded company based in London.
In tribute to his pioneering contributions to the Fantasy Sports industry, in 2014 Rob was elected to the Fantasy Sports Hall of Fame by the Fantasy Sports Trade Association. He is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
